Cut

Often people confuse the shape of a diamond by using the word cut (e.g. princess cut). However, when it comes to grading a diamond, or any other stone, the cut relates to how well a diamond is cut with grade levels given to Symmetry and Polish. At Be-Jewelled we treat the Cut with very high importance and this is why we only offer the best cut diamonds to our clients.

Clarity

The clarity of a diamond relates to inclusions (e.g. clouds or crystals) in a diamond. When it comes to the grading of the clarity, the size and position of the inclusions and how many exist, determine the grade.

Color

Diamond colour grading starts from D (highest grade) and goes to Z (lowest grade). We typically recommend to stay between colours D and I.

Carat

Lastly, the carat simply means the weight of the stone (e.g. 0.75 carat). Each carat is equivalent to 200 milligrams (or 0.2 grams). Book an appointment with the Be-Jewelled Team to learn which combination of these 4C’s fits your preference and budget best.
